(CPA or PA) To find a licensee, select 'Accountancy Board' under the heading 'Select a Board' and enter the search criteria. Enter a few characters of the last name and select the 'Search' option to find licensees that match your selection criteria. Once you receive the search results, you may select the license number to obtain the original license issue date and the license expiration date. To find a public accounting firm, select 'Accountancy Board' under the heading 'Select a Board' and enter the search criteria. Enter the first few letters of the firm name on the line 'Business Name/DBA,' select 'Ohio' as the state, and select the 'Search' option. Firms with a FIRM prefix and a suffix (PR=Peer review; TC=Tax or consulting firm) are registered with the Board. All other Ohio firm offices will have an EMPL prefix.
